1998 Cabernet

Our first wine and an homage to both Georges and the grand Columbia Gorge that feeds our vineyards, tempers the hot Washington sun, and makes world class Washington wine possible. Destiny Ridge sits perched above the Columbia River south of Prosser, Washington in the Horse Heaven Hills. While it is a very warm site, curves of the vineyard and cool river breezes temper the intense Washington sun. Planted in 1998 Destiny Ridge is the geologically quintessential Washington vineyard with shallow wind blown loess atop ancient fractured basalt bedrock.
